BIO 208 - Genetics Organisms can be more fully understood by knowing the hereditary make up that dictates development. This lecture course will introduce the student to heredity through the study of chromosomes, mutations, molecular genetics and evolutionary genetics. The principles presented in this course will prepare the life science major for more advanced topics in the field of biology. Prerequisite(s): BIO 104 Principles of Biology I Lecture Co-requisite(s): BIO 218 Genetics Lab 3 credits
