ECE 215 - Teaching: Integrating Curriculum through Creative Expression


Creative Expression involves all of the elements of developmental and environmental interaction for PreK-4th grade children in regular, inclusive, and diverse settings. Students in the course learn how to design and apply developmentally appropriate practice and academic rigor within the curriculum, incorporating Early Learning and Academic Standards, and Assessment Anchors in structured lessons plans. Students complete observations and small group activities in Stars 3 or 4 centers, or public schools. This course is part of the PDE field experience requirement.
Prerequisite(s): Acts 34, 114, and 151
